Mexican Jesus

Shown from left are woodcarvings made by Kevin Lajiness, 52, of Linwood: "Genghis Khan," "Mexican Jesus," and "Saint Faustina."

After being diagnosed with throat cancer eight years ago, Lajiness began songwriting in 2007, taking inspiration from nature. He considers himself a naive artist with a passion for the environment, and he records his own music and puts songs together on his computer.
